Palin Is Pregnant!

Sorry to disappoint; it’s Bristol Palin:

Watch the left attack Sarah Palin vis-a-vis family values. Then remember this: if Bristol had decided to murder the fetus, she would have been applauded by these same people. As it is, Sarah will be held up as an example of Republican hypocrisy.
And trust me…I’m positive that Gov. Palin disclosed this to McCain prior to the VP selection, and that McCain rightfully said it shouldn’t be an issue. And he is right.

Agreed.
The only choice Jayzus is worried about is whether to pack a Lunchable or a PBJ with the crusts cut off tomorrow morning.

Sarah Palin should be applauded for her ‘baby making happiness’; first for her decision NOT to abort a child she knew would be afflicted with Downs Syndrome – and second for her commitment to support her daughter’s decision NOT to murder her unborn child. What are family values, if not this? Having daddy hold your hand at the abortion clinic? This kind of mentality points to the larger problem of not exercising responsibility, and worse yet, not teaching it to our children, but that’s a whole ‘nuther subject…
Jayzus would have us believe that abortion was the solution for both of these women. Perhaps he wants to redefine pro-choice.

Little of which is correct (the reader does have a point about Catholics), and none of which addresses the point, of course.
But I’m happy to know that my blog has reached the Cheetos and Clark Bar-littered basement desks of Michael Moore fans everywhere.
The last 4 paragraphs of this comment look suspiciously like a boilerplate rant provided to him by his liberal parents that the reader ices with an intro vaguely addressing the subject at hand, and then sends out to any and all bloggers whom he perceives as “right-wing.”
The good news is that tomorrow morning he’ll be back in 10th grade homeroom, turning his attention away from my blog and his Dungeons and Dragons game, and back to picking zits, imagining back seat liaisons with Lindsay Lohan, and avoiding hallway wedgies by right-wing football players.

So 17-year-old, unmarried Bristol Palin got herself knocked up. How could she not? With the cowboy mentality rampant in Alaska, and her own mother setting such a fine example of gun-toting, babymaking happiness, what choice did she have?
Naturally, Republicans and rednecks who breed like sheep are to be applauded. Sort of the way the Catholic Church wants their flock to keep turning ‘em out and keep the number of faithful up.
What’s really going on in both Church and State is the propagation and continuation of a servant class, a harking back to the feudal days of lord and serf.
Evidence of how successful the State, in this case the Republicans, have been setting up their kingdom on earth is everywhere. Money, power, greed are the three keys to their kingdom. The billionaires at the top of the heap; the rest of us being ground to dust.
Funny how things have evolved, where right to life (at least for the elite) has become synonymous with the Lord’s way — right-wing billionaires being the Lords. Naturally.
