Sonia Sotomayor

I will proceed, unchallenged I suspect, on the assumption that this woman is a Roman Catholic. There is plenty of anecdotal evidence to that effect, although an outside observer certainly does not know the heart (see “David Souter”) of a Supreme Court nominee.
This means that she is a follower of a religion which dictates, as its highest profile social position, that abortion is murder.
I will further assume that this woman is “pro-choice,” which is to say pro-abortion, which is to further say (according to her own religion) pro-murder. Trust me, if she wasn’t “pro-choice,” she wouldn’t have been nominated by President Carpathia.
Now you see where I’m headed.
So here’s your Chinese menu:
1. Hypocrite
2. Dissembler
3. Dissociater
4. Liar
5. Pimp
6. Tim Kaine fan (http://layinablog.wordpress.com/2008/06/10/virginias-executive-hypocrite-is-at-it-again/)
7. Some or all of the above
I’m just saying, you know? BecauseĀ I promise you logic.

And as soon as I apply myself to a dictionary, I may get back to you…you, you, you BIG WORD PERSON.

You are asking me to apply logic to the motives of an institution which teaches, among other things, transubstantiation and divine parthenogenesis.
Sorry; no can do.

You have made good on your promise. But she’s not the first to compromise their beliefs for a position.
‘Splain something to me though? After seeing the church’s reaction to the PC/Notre Dame deal, why isn’t there a similar reaction when one of their own is put in a position to be beholding to him in matters where their agendas conflict? More logic, please.
